Joan Cook, 72, of Bristol

BRISTOL — Joan Cook went to be with Henry, her loving husband of 43 years, on April 13, 2021. She is survived by her sons Jason and Adam Cook; her stepchildren Lynne and Rodney Grant, Jeff and Christine Cook, and Holly and Chris Acker; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joel Provoncha.
Joan owned and operated Sand & Pots flower shop for 14 years before turning to her gardening.
She was very involved in the Farmers Market, being on the board of directors for over twenty years. Joan was also known for her love of NASCAR and cooking, which she loved to share with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry “Bud” Cook, her brother John “Butch” Provoncha and her stepson Robert Cook.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, April 17, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol at 1 p.m. To send online condolences to her family visit brownmcclayfuneralhomes.com.◊
