No spectators at Panther spring sports

MIDDLEBURY — Spectators and members of the media will not be allowed to see any athletic events at Middlebury College this spring, per a policy adopted by the NESCAC conference to which the college belongs.
Those interested in following the Panther teams that are seeing action this spring may view them online at athletics.middlebury.edu. Schedules are also available at that website.
The college’s Sports Information Department confirmed last week that teams’ home events and games will be streamed, starting the weekend of April 10 and 11.
Panther teams expected to see action this spring include softball, baseball, track and field, and women’s tennis. The other teams did not have enough student-athletes on campus to field competitive squads.
