MIDDLEBURY — Frances “Kathy” Severance, 82, formerly of Weybridge, passed away March 20 at Porter Hospital.
Kathy grew up in West Rutland and owned “Kalico Kitten Ceramics” in Fair Haven for a time. She had a passion for crafts and her many beloved cats. She was a member of the Weybridge Congregational Church.
She is survived by her former husband, Ralph Severence of Bennington; brothers Edward Drop of Acton, Mass., and Thaddeus Drop of Castleton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her other siblings, a favorite niece, and special friend Kelly James.
Burial will take place later this spring in Weybridge.◊
