Dean Hill Stanley, 82, of Shoreham

SHOREHAM — Dean Hill Stanley, age 82, died Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, at his home in Shoreham.
Dean was born in Barton, Vt., on March 22, 1938. He was the son of Rosco and Clara (Hill) Stanley. He grew up in Shoreham, where he received his early education and graduated from Newton Academy class 1956.
He was a truck driver most of his life. He also worked as a millhand for Eastern States Farmers Exchange, but later drove a truck for Agway. He retired from Agway in 1998 following more than 42 years of service. He was a member and past master of the Shoreham Masonic Lodge and currently belonged to Morning Star Masonic Lodge. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by two sons; Kevin Dean Stanley and Scott William Stanley, both of Shoreham. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him, as well as his former wife and mother of his children, Arlene (Doane) Stanley of Shoreham. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Stanley.
Respecting his wishes there will not be a public funeral service.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.◊
