RUTLAND — Mary “Pat” Brown (Craddock) 79, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, after a brief battle with coronavirus. She was born Feb. 15, 1941, in Lynbrook, N.Y., the daughter of the late George and Vera Craddock.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She was a Registered Nurse for 25 years, married for 53 years and raised six wonderful children. She loved crocheting, funny jokes, sweets, car rides, playing board games and holidays with her family.
She is survived by her six children: Christopher Brown and his significant other Michelle George of Sterling, Mass.; Elizabeth and husband Dan Herriman of Middlebury; Michael Brown and significant other Michelle Godwin of Grand Isle; Denise Cousino and significant other Pete Levins of Bristol; Matthew Brown and wife Kacie of Columbus, Ohio; and Mary and husband Andrew Buxton of Orwell. She is also survived by her grandchildren Danielle Brown, Matthew and wife Erica Brown, Christine Slusser, Bryan Parks, Jared Hubbell (Danielle), Levi Hubbell (Ginni), Garrett Cousino (Elise), Tanika Cousino, Shea Cravens, and Vada and Edie Buxton; her great-grandchildren, Shaun, Maxwell, Luna, Isla, Collin, Amelia, Myra and Gemma; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother George and wife Mimi, sister-in-law Dorothy and husband Anthony and her parents-in-law Harry and Antoinette Brown.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the summer. The family would like to thank Rutland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for caring for our Mom over the last few years and during her brief illness.
