Letter to the editor: Bray is thorough, consistent in his representation
In his eight years in the Vermont Senate Chris Bray has proven himself to be one of the most productive and effective legislators in Montpelier. As chair of the Senate Natural Resources Committee for the past four years he has consistently worked to improve water quality, develop clean energy, and reduce Vermonters’ exposure to toxic chemicals. He was the initiator of the Farm to Plate program, which has generated more than 6,000 new agricultural jobs, added over $100 million in farm revenue, and helped diversify our agricultural sector. He has also had a focus on smart planning, strong schools, health care for all, childcare and early education, and affordable housing.
Chris is extremely thorough in his approach to legislation, doing extensive research so that he can make a compelling case to his colleagues when he presents his legislative proposals. His quiet and dedicated approach to the legislative process does not attract a lot of public attention, but it results in legislation that benefits Vermonters directly. I urge residents of Addison County to join me in voting for Chris Bray for another term in the Vermont State Senate.
