Letter to the editor: Holmes has a long history of problem solving
I have been a resident of Bridport for 14 years. Early on, I was fortunate to meet Ron Holmes and learn of his involvement with many civic groups and residents as well in Middlebury, Shoreham, and the rest of Addison County, in his capacity as Deputy Sheriff. I met him when both our moms were at Helen Porter Nursing Home. He has great concern for the senior citizens, the very elderly, and the infirmed.
His reputation for taking care of small problems so they don’t escalate into large ones is the hallmark of his character. Ron is the average guy next door, which is why you know he is trustworthy. He has a sense of fairness and justice for all. I hope you will join me and vote Holmes for high bailiff on Nov. 3.
