Gary A. Larson, 59, of Bristol
BRISTOL — In the early hours on Monday, Aug. 31, Gary A. Larson left this life. He was brave in the face of treatment for the multiple cancer tumors in his body. With the support of hospice and his friends in the town of Bristol, Vt., Gary was cared for in his home, passing with his brother at his side.
He was born Sept. 16, 1960, to Russ A. Rueger and Betty Danielson.
Gary was a truly kind soul, dog whisperer, caring and gentle.
He is survived by his brother Russ Rueger; nieces Shannon (Rueger) Bindler, Sarah (Rueger) Lindell, and Corrin (Rueger) Santa Cruz; and nephew Daniel Rueger. He was predeceased by his brother Bruce Rueger. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be an official funeral. Gary would want you to memorialize him in a way that expresses your personal relationship with him. Donations to the Addison County Humane Society and/or Addison County Home Health and Hospice would be meaningful and befitting.◊
