Letter to the editor: Gray’s diverse experience makes her the top choice
Molly Gray is the candidate for Lieutenant Governor with the strongest personal and professional qualifications. She grew up on a Vermont farm, worked in Washington, D.C., in the office of Rep. Peter Welch, and has had a number of assignments internationally, working on humanitarian and human rights issues. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Molly got a law degree from Vermont Law School, did her clerkship in Vermont’s Second Circuit Court in Rutland, and now serves as an Assistant Attorney General in Chittenden County.
Molly’s platform calls for social, racial and economic justice, a diverse and resilient rural economy, and family-friendly economic policies. She supports investing in our working landscape, developing energy independence through locally based renewable energy programs, and prioritizing green jobs and industry. You can learn more at mollyforvermont.com/issues.
As Gov. Madeleine Kunin said in endorsing her, “Molly is the face of the next generation of Vermont leaders.” We will be voting for Molly Gray in the August Democratic primary and encourage you to join us.
