Edgar (Beaver) Trudeau, 88, of New Haven

NEW HAVEN — Edgar (Beaver) Trudeau, 88, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.
He was born on May 5, 1932, in Weybridge, the son of Ernest and Eva (Mumblo) Trudeau.
He was a farmer, heavy equipment operator and the owner of Beaver’s Cab. He enjoyed dancing, gardening, birdwatching, spending time with his family, and talking to everyone and embracing their friendship.
He was predeceased by his wife, Darlene (Holcomb) Trudeau; his son, Christopher Trudeau; and his brothers and sister.
Beaver is survived by five children: Tamara Alday, Cheyanne Warner, Matthew Trudeau, Donna Meacham and husband Bruce, and Loralee Spooner; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Beaver will be held at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol on Friday, June 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. and are open to the public. Please bring a mask for the service. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol and are open to the public. Please bring a mask for the service.
