BRIDPORT — Barbara “Elvira” (McLean) Plante, 73, of Bridport, wife of Leo H. Plante of 53 years, passed peacefully June 11, 2020, at her home.
She was born Oct. 13, 1946, in Meriden, Conn., the daughter of the late Robert and Marie McLean.
Barbara is survived by her husband Leo; by her children, Leo and wife Melissa Plante and Rayne Plante, of Bridport; by her grandchild, Austin Billings; and by her brother David McLean and wife Ann.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Robert McLean and Mike Kinch and by her sister Margaret Keeling.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Homeward Bound, Addison County Humane Society at 236 Boardman St., Middlebury, VT 05753, or to the V.F.W. at 530 Exchange St., Middlebury, VT 05753.
