Rebekah Irwin IDs masked locals and wins drawing
In this past Thursday’s edition we ran a little contest in which we showed 13 pictures of local folks wearing masks, and we asked readers to identify them by just their eyes.
Thanks to the all those who entered and to the good sports who let us run their photos. In case you weren’t sure, here are the identities of the mask-wearers:
1. Dan McIntosh, owner of Forth ’N Goal Sports
2. Mari Cordes, state representative and Registered Nurse
3. Amey Ryan, broker/owner of IPJ Real Estate
4. Jim Gish, community liaison for the Middlebury Rail Bridges Project
5. Helena Van Voorst, executive director of United Way of Addison County
6. Rev. Barnaby Feder, minister of Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society
7. Kathleen Ramsay, Middlebury town manager
8. Bob Ritter, Middlebury College football coach
9. Ruth Hardy, Addison County state senator
10. Jeff Fritz, mayor of Vergennes
11. Matthew Cox, former MUHS teacher
12. Bridget Sullivan, Addison Independent front office
13. Bill McKibben, Middlebury College scholar in residence
Congratulations to Rebekah Irwin, who correctly ID’d all the faces and had her name pulled from a hat. She will receive a $25 gift certificate from Sweet Cecily in Middlebury.
Stave off a second COVID-19 wave — continue to wear your masks!
