Marguerite Clark, 70, of Bridport

BRIDPORT — Marguerite Clark, 70, passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2020, after a long and very courageous battle to overcome the lasting effects of a severe stroke. Margo, as she was known, was born Nov. 5, 1949, to Alan and Shirley Clark of Vergennes.
Margo graduated from Vergennes High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree at Castleton College. Margo was employed for many years as the receptionist at the dental office of Dr. David Congalton. She lived her entire life in the Vergennes area making countless friends.
Margo believed in living life to the fullest: She enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, boating, working in her herb garden or just going for a walk. The most important part of her life was family, her children and friends.
She is survived by her partner of 20 years, David; her daughter Elizabeth and husband Jay, grandson Jameson of Melbourne, Fla.;, her son Benjamin and partner Christina, grandson Cole of South Burlington; and her niece Gretchen of South Burlington. She was predeceased by her brother Greg in 2012.
Due to the current pandemic no services will be held at this time. We hope to have a memorial service late summer or early fall.◊
