Lyndrid Towle, 74, of Panton

PANTON — Lyndrid Towle, 74, of Panton, Vt., passed away Dec. 1, 2019.
Lyndrid, known by most as Lindy, was born Jan. 5, 1945, in Windsor, Vt. She was predeceased by her parents Frank Clark and Phyllis and Ivan Thomas.
Lindy was predeceased by her loving husband, Colonel James Guy Towle, whom she married in 1983, and also by her son, Kevin McFadden.
Lindy is survived by her daughters Kelly Miller and Katie McFadden, and James’ children Amy Mailloux, Stacey Towle, Lori Towle and Jimmy Towle. Lindy is also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The bond of family was very important to Lindy.
Lindy absolutely adored her home in Panton. She developed many special relationships within her cherished community.  She was extremely fortunate to have a circle of beloved friends that became like family and were support in her later years. Lindy got such joy from sharing her love of gardening and knowledge of flowers with others. She made it her life’s work to tend the landscapes of her community and surrounding areas and to bring beauty to those around her.
A celebration of life will be planned for a future date, yet to be determined.◊
