EAST MIDDLEBURY — Cornelia “Connie” A. Grant 78, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020, at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born Sept. 21, 1941, in Lincoln, Vt., the daughter of Roy and Viola Cram.
Connie attended Bristol High School.
She Married Raymond E. Grant June 27, 1964.
Connie worked for many years as a janitor at Middlebury College and G. Stone Motors. She loved people and had many friends.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Raymond Grant of East Middlebury; by her son Raymond E. Grant Jr. of Jay, N.Y.; by her good friend Donna Welch of East Middlebury; by her four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special nieces Rose and Cindy.
She was predeceased by her parents and by her siblings, Albert Cram, Nora Cram and Bernice Baslow.
Per her wishes there will be no visiting hours or funeral services.
