Monkton news for Mar. 5

MONKTON — The Russell Memorial Library will host “See it and Sketch It” with Erin from the Birds of Vermont Museum on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. Erin will guide you in how to identify and draw the wild birds in our area. This should be an interesting evening to learn more about our Vermont birds. This was a rescheduling from a previous date. For more information, plus information about any other program or services, call 453-4471. Library hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Saturday Stories program is continuing to be held monthly at the library. Each session includes stories, songs and a simple craft for the children to enjoy and participate in.  All are welcome. Check with the library for dates and times.
“The only thing you absolutely have to know is the location of the library.” — Albert Einstein
