NEW HAVEN — Raymond W. Daniels, 77, passed away Friday Jan. 3, 2020, at Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Nursing.
He was born Aug. 21, 1942, in Middlebury, the son of Ladd W. and Dorothy (Holcomb) Daniels.
Ray was a graduate of Beeman Academy class of 1960. After graduation he enlisted with the Unites States Air Force.
He is survived by his brothers, Richard Daniels (Nancy) and Robert Daniels, both of New Haven; by a nephew Chris Daniels (Sue) of Starksboro; and many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Nursing, Addison County Home Health and Bayada Hospice and everyone else who made his final days as comfortable as possible.
Per his wishes the will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department, of which he was a longtime member, at P.O. Box 120, New Haven, VT 05472.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson Funeral Service.◊
