National Bank of Middlebury plans money raffle
National Bank of Middlebury is helping boost the local economy by giving away $1,000 in Vergennes, as well as in the four other towns where it has branches. The bank is holding a raffle of $500 to a local shopper and $500 to a local business with the intent of seeing that money spent wihtin the community.
This currency can be spent in Vergennes, to help keep money circulating locally.
The bank is calling it the Shop Local & Win Raffle.
The Contest: Participating merchants will have a poster placed in their window to signify they are participating in the contest. Each time a customer shops at the participating merchant, the business will give them a raffle ticket to fill out. The shopper must return the ticket to the National Bank of Middlebury branch in that community to enter the drawing. The ticket will include merchant name, shopper’s name, shopper’s email address, and shopper’s phone number.
Merchants who wish to participate in the Shop Local & Win Raffle should send an email to [email protected] with the name of their business, address, a phone number and a contact name.
