LINCOLN — I would like to thank everyone who donated to the 5-Town Fill the Firehouse Food Drive. Thank you to the LCS students and staff for collecting eight boxes of non-perishable items for the food shelf. Thank you to Grace, Nate and Jake O. of the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department and their families for all their help with the food drive. Thanks to all of the student helpers for greeting people, collecting their donations and sorting and boxing it all up. What kind and generous kids!
Thank you to all who stopped by the firehouse Saturday with your food and monetary donations. Lincoln’s total was 760 pounds of food collected and $130 in monetary donations. The overall 5-town total was 4,640 pounds of food collected and $2,085 in monetary donations. Thank you all for making a difference in our community. We appreciate you.
Congratulations to the 5/6 boy’s and girl’s soccer teams at LCS on winning the 5-town cup. This is the first time in LCS history that both 5/6 teams have won the cup. Way to go.
