Art on Main hosts an exhibit for student artists
BRISTOL — For the 10th year, Art on Main in Bristol welcomes the annual Mount Abe Emerging Artists exhibit. This special show, on exhibit March 5-27, features student-art in grades 9-12 and celebrates Youth Art Month.
Youth Art Month is a national event observed each March and promoted by the council for Art Education and the National Art Education Association. Exhibiting in the Bristol gallery space is a great opportunity for these young artists to showcase their work like the pros.
This year the following student artists were invited to submit their work on the basis of their artistic talent and dedication to creating art: Katharine Heath, Emily Crowe, Marley Keith, Emily LaRock, Karissa Livingston, Evan Logan, Camilienne Mass, Hannah Zimmer, Lucinda Guy, Cole Kowenhoven, Adrien Larocque, Rebecca Laurent, Caroline Sodaro, Rosemary Thurber, Sawyer Forbes, Autumn Guimond, Olivia Heath, Grace Hobbs, Evan Laurent, Owen Maille, Patrick Marcotullio and Rosa Tropp.
A public reception will be held at the gallery, located at 25 Main Street in Bristol, to celebrate these young artists on Tuesday, March 5, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
