To Begin, but not the usual way with words,
ideas, with pen and paper, but just…..
Begin.  Touch of air this morning
and a carrying of it toward something,
coffee and a cool breeze,
awareness that hasn’t been for some time
clouded over as it is with so much –
emotion, debris, spring run amok.
A good cleaning might do.
Just the word itself: Begin.
Say yes once and mean it.
Dance upon the letters,
open each one up, and breathe.
