224 contestants enjoy fishing in Lake Dunmore Derby

SALISBURY — Results from the 2018 Lake Dunmore ice fishing Derby are in. The Derby, which was held Feb. 10 and 11 and is organized by the Kampersville Store, drew plenty of entries — 197 adult and 27 youth.
Prizes were awarded as follows:
Adult Bass: 1st Place – Ethan Dragon (3.76 lbs.) $500, 2nd place –Chris Lafountain (3.68 lbs.) $300, 3rd place Dan Drinkwine (3.32 lbs.) $200.
Adult Salmon: 1st place – Scott Miller (2.94 lbs.) $500, 2nd place Lisa Wall (1.89 lbs.) $300, 3rd place Rob Gearwor (1.16 lbs.) $200.
Adult Pike: 1st place – Cullen Hathaway (10.29 lbs.) $500, 2nd place – Greg Whtiney (8.12 lbs.) $300, 3rd place Nicole Racine (7.48 lbs.) $200.
Adult Trout: 1st place – John Fitzgerald (7.26 lbs.) $500, 2nd place – Joey Gearwor (7.21 lbs.) $300, 3rd place – Brooke Zeno (6.88 lbs.) $200.
Other Category: Largest Other Fish – Mark Aube, catfish (7.37 lbs.) $50.00
Youth Categories: Largest Pike – Taylor Tanner (7.67 lbs.) $75, Largest Bass – Luke Nuceder (2.46 lbs.) $75, Largest Trout – Reese Fitzgerald (4.77 lbs.) $75, Largest Salmon – No entries, Largest Perch – Ben Parker (.95 lbs.) $75.
