Book sale coming up at the Bixby

VERGENNES — The Friends of Bixby Library in Vergennes will host their final used book sale of the year beginning Friday, Oct. 27, from 3 to 6 p.m., and continuing on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“With boxes and boxes (and boxes) of books to choose from, there is something for everyone,” said coordinator Marsha Hoffman.  “And, in appreciation of all the people who come and support the book sale throughout the spring and summer, we wanted to make our final sale of the season as affordable as possible.  So, come and take as many as you can carry and pay what you think they are worth!”
Hoffman also offered that volunteers could help customers load their cars with purchases.
The sale includes all current inventory — DVDs/CD audiobooks, cookbooks, craft books, fiction, gardening, nonfiction, hardcover, and paperback.  There is an enormous selection of good quality children’s books for all ages, including young adult hardcover.  Follow the signs to this Blow-out Book Sale on the lower level of the Bixby Library, 258 Main St., Vergennes.
