Cornwall Fire Department to host annual barbeque this Sunday
CORNWALL — The grills will fire up early for a morning of slow roasting on Sunday, June 25, for the annual Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department chicken barbecue.
Sit-down or take-out dining starts at noon and ends at 2 p.m. The traditional menu of one half-chicken cooked slowly and basted with a secret sauce over open coals, plus sides, remains the same. Hot dogs and hamburgers will also be available.
All proceeds benefit the work of the fire department. The event takes place at the firehouse on Route 30 at the corner with Sperry Road.
