Neat Repeats awards $16,057 in spring 2017 grants
MIDDLEBURY — The volunteers at the Neat Repeats consignment shop on Bakery Lane in Middlebury have awarded $16,057 in the spring 2017 grant cycle, as follows:
Amounts of $4,882 to Family Assistance (14 grants), $3,750 to Addison County Housing Solutions (HOPE), $1,260 to Educational Opportunities (3), $1,000 to Dental needs (2), $1,000 to Middlebury Ambulance EMS and $800 to Festival-on-the-Green.
Also distributed was $625 to various organizations (6), $500 to Living Well/Bristol site, $500 to Leicester Summer Alive!, $300 to Quin-Town Senior Center, $300 to Picnic/Fresh Air Fund Families, $300 to Quarry Hill Summer Playgroup, $250 to Ilsley Library Summer Reading Program, $250 for Signage for the Middlebury Farmer’s Market, $200 to Addison County Field Days for e new copier and $200 to Rokeby Museum.
Directors Linda Waterman and Diane Howlett express their gratitude for a busy donation season and encourage the community to continue supporting Neat Repeats by shopping, donating or volunteering, and they remind shoppers that the store is air-conditioned.
