Opinion: Rep. Nuovo endorses Scheu, Sheldon in Addison-1

I am happy to give my support to Amy Sheldon and Robin Scheu as Representatives of the town of Middlebury to the Vermont House.
Amy Sheldon has been my colleague in the House of Representatives for two years and I know firsthand that she has served the town and state extremely well. In her first session she served in the House Fish, Wildlife and Water Committee, where she was instrumental in enacting the new water bill for the state of Vermont. She works tirelessly for a clean environment, economic development, Lake Champlain clean up, paid sick days and for the welfare of all who live here.
I have known Robin Scheu for many years and I am certain that she will become an outstanding legislator. She has worked for the town in many ways, as executive director of Addison County Economic Development. She has been active, often in a leadership role, in many organizations in the town and county: Porter Hospital, Mary Hogan School, United Way and Middlebury Area Land Trust. Her expertise economic development and conservations is very much needed in the Legislature.
Please join me in electing them both to the Vermont House.
Betty Nuovo
