CSAC receives Vermont workplace of the year honors

MIDDLEBURY —  The Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC) was recently named one the 2016 Best Places to Work in Vermont. CSAC was one of 14 companies to win in the Large Company category, for companies with over 200 employees. This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Vermont.
A local community mental health center located in Middlebury, CSAC provides critical mental health services to more than 2,000 Addison County residents. CSAC offers a wide range of professional mental health and developmental services designed to meet the needs of those seeking help. Using a multidisciplinary approach, they draw on the expertise of staff trained in developmental services, addiction recovery treatment, psychiatry, mental health counseling, social work, family therapy and child therapy, and employment support.
Executive Director Robert Thorn says, “I am tremendously proud of the skilled and dedicated people who work here. Being named to the list is wonderful recognition of the work culture that we have created at CSAC. We value treating each other well, managing our resources effectively, and providing the highest quality training, supervision, and teaming.”
