Opinion: Planned Parenthood expanding local operations?

I have seen an ad for a “medical supervisor” for Planned Parenthood to work in several clinics, including Middlebury. The new location is still conveniently located on our excellent bus system, from the middle and high schools, not to mention the college.
We have previously been spared having the “convenience” of being able to kill a fetus in close proximity: The PP in Middlebury has only been able to refer to Burlington for actually performing an abortion. Now after New Hampshire has tightened their regulations to include a parental notification for a minor daughter, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England has decided to close their Lebanon clinic, and open a larger one in Vermont, where there is no such rule about telling the parents or getting their permission or cooperation.
Do we really think it is a good idea to encourage early sexual activity and then do surgery, which may damage the girl’s ability to ever have a child? The down side of abortion is real, a woman sooner or later will grieve the child she allowed to be killed before it was born. The grief will take many forms, and sooner or later will have to be addressed: our Creator is the only one who has the right to take life, and when we do what we sense or know is wrong, we pay a price.
