Eagle girls’ soccer earns two wins

BRISTOL — The Mount Abraham Union High School girls’ soccer team won twice last week to improve to 2-1.
On Wednesday the Eagles blanked host Stowe, 2-0. Addy Harris and Ellie Ginsburg scored, and goalie Justice Green stopped three shots. Stowe goalie Anika Wagner made 15 saves.
On Saturday the Eagles routed visiting Fairfax, 9-1. Becca Laurent’s hat trick paced Mount Abe; Mae Peterson, Juliettte Snell and Harris each contributed a goal and an assist; and Sydney Minnerly, Chloe Johnston and Jessica Colbeth scored a goal apiece. Green made two saves, and two Fairfax goalies combined for 19 stops.
