THETFORD — Local high school cross-country runners posted solid results at Saturday’s Woods Trails Run at Thetford Academy, a major meet that drew more than 1,300 varsity athletes and 96 boys’ and girls’ scoring teams from around New England. Among local squads, the Middlebury boys fared best overall with 524 points, taking 15th out of 52 scoring teams and finishing third among the Vermont Division II teams competing.
