St. Stephen’s awards $24,000 in grants to local agencies

Each year, St. Stephen’s of Middlebury distributes proceeds from its Peasant Market to help people in need.

Honor the departed with a special service and premiere of the new composition “Darkness and Light” at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in downtown Middlebury on Nov. 3.

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church’s annual Peasant Market on the Middlebury Town Green this year grossed nearly $36,000 — funds that will allow St. Stephen’s to support local nonprofits.
