MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police received into evidence what police described as “a powdery substance and pills” found in a school bathroom on March 5. The initial police log item said the school was located on Charles Avenue. Police later told the Independent that the school was the Patricia A. Hanaford Career Center. Police said the case is under investigation.
