Boat launch stewards ready to assist

Aquatic invasive plant species (AIS) have long threatened the health and populations of native plants in the Lewis Creek watershed.

September 24th marked the end of Lewis Creek Association’s boat launch steward program at Bristol and Monkton Ponds.

Lewis Creek Association (LCA) recently wrapped up its boat launch steward program at Bristol Pond and Monkton Pond.

Lewis Creek Association is looking forward to planting trees on about 3.5 acres of land along Lewis Creek in Ferrisburgh.
