Why is the Vermont outdoorsman doomed to lose the land to hunt, fish, trap and shoot? Taxpayers contribute tax money that funds agricultural land management programs for farms but no public access. It seems more balance is needed. Tax breaks, migrant workers, pollution, wetlands destruction and soil degradation all lead to more government dollars spent.
