The Monkton Historical Society will be hosting another interesting presentation revealing the town history.
Monkton’s Russell Memorial Library is launching its Armchair Adventure series with a talk by Ivor Hughes, who will discuss his backpacking trip retracting gold rush routes through Yukon Territory.
Budding and aspiring authors should plan on attending the presentation, “So, you want to write a book” on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m., at the Russell Memorial Library in Monkton. The speakers will be Eugenie Doyle and Ivor Hughes.
