Vermont Sun half-marathon draws 200

Vermont Sun’s summer season of participatory sports kicked off on Sunday with nearly 200 competitors in the fitness center’s namesake half marathon, 10K road race and 5K race. They were held at Branbury State Park with the start and finish next to Lake Dunmore.

Freeport, Maine’s Wilson Moore, 24, ran a 5:49-per-mile pace over 13.1 miles on Sunday to win the Vermont Sun Half Marathon with an overall time of 1:16:09.
