The Vermont Department of Mental Health is offering free Problem Gambling Essentials Training for mental health and substance use treatment providers.
Gambling has been unleashed. Apparently, there aren’t enough existing addictions. So, why not search for more ways to make life miserable for those who already struggle? We’re good at promoting and underfunding destructive behavior.
Gambling is extremely dangerous to the individual’s wellbeing. Like other addictions, some can do it in a responsible way and others cannot.
