As one of 12 recipients of a Year of the Book grant valued at $25,000 from the Children’s Literacy Foundation, Salisbury Community School kicked off a year celebrating reading, writing and literacy.
The Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) announces the launch of its second annual Two-Sentence Writing Contest.
The grant will provide $2,500 in new children’s books for the Lawrence Memorial and the Bristol Elementary School libraries, storytelling sessions, book giveaways and other programming.
