VUHS cheer places third in D-II competition

The Vergennes Union High School cheer squad took third in Division II on Saturday in front of a big crowd in their own gym, an audience that also applauded two cheerleading dynasties that continued to rule in D-I and D-II. 

The Otter Valley and Vergennes cheer teams took to the floor on Saturday for the annual Vermont competition, which the Commodores hosted in a packed Vergennes Union High School gymnasium.
