Burlington mayor to step down after 12 years, eyes statewide office

Miro Weinberger told VTDigger that Vermont faces “major challenges,” including a drug crisis and a “deep, acute housing shortage” — issues that have particularly plagued Burlington during his tenure as mayor.

The local bus service Tri-Valley Transit recently celebrated a service milestone with Route 116 commuter riders and also expanded its LINK to Burlington weekday service that it has been operating for less than two years.
