Steve’s Park Diner honored at ceremony

Over 100 people gathered on Saturday, Aug. 5, to honor Steve and Beth Dow and their 25 years of service as owners of Steve’s Park Diner in Middlebury.

The old Diner restaurant served up its last meal in 2018, and next month it’s slated to be removed from its longtime 66 Merchants Row spot in order to make way for an expansion of the adjacent Town Hall Theater.

Beth Dow to serve the treasurer’s role until Town Meeting Day 2023.

“She’s been like a secret weapon,” said Middlebury Town Manager Kathleen Ramsay of Beth Dow’s nearly 50 years of service to the town of Middlebury.
