Art on Main in Bristol will host a reception and artist talk for a new exhibit showcasing work by Dominique Gustin and Matlakwauhti Mayforth, on Friday, Oct. 6, from 5-7 p.m.
Art on Main takes art outdoors for a special afternoon devoted to the new stone labyrinth recently completed on the beautiful Bristol property of photographer and Art on Main Board Member Anne Majusiak.
“3D On and Off the wall” features diverse works by member artists Gail Martin, John Arthur, Scott Crocker and Robin Kent, exploring scale and the third dimension in metal, wood and collage.
This month, we get to see through Anne Majusiak’s lens in her most recent exhibit at Art on Main in Bristol.
Art on Main is highlighting new photographer artist, Denise Letendre, through the month of July.
Art on Main is celebrating the long artistic career and 90th birthday of Starksboro painter Cynthia Guild Kling with a retrospective show.
The art comes from community members who responded with paintings, photography, prints and sculptures that represent their appreciation for “OurEarth.”
“It’s a very strange thing,” said Theresa Harris, the manager of Edgewater Galleries in Middlebury, “we had a really wonderful year — one of our strongest years yet.”
Five artists will be showing five new pieces of work at Art on Main in Bristol.
