MIDDLEBURY — Anneliese (Leibsch) Brooks, 71, died at her home in Middlebury surrounded by her loved ones on Aug. 12. Anneliese was born in Zietlitz, Germany, but grew up in Massachusetts until marrying her husband, Lelon “Lee” Brooks and moving first to New York and finally to Vermont, where they settled and raised their family.
