- The public is invited to fill up their gardens with plants from the Orwell Free Library’s plant sale later this month. “This event is absolutely bonkers for our little community,” says librarian Kate Hunter. “The school is running a car wash fundraiser beginning at 10 a.m. on the same day. Should be fun! The Library’s 19th annual Plant, Book & Bake Sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 23 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 473 Main st. in Orwell.
