Vermont State Police Log: Man cited for DUI after crash

ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police recently cited a Massachusetts man for impaired driving following a crash in Hancock, and also two Addison County men for drunken driving in separate incidents.

On Sept. 4 at around 9:30 a.m. troopers responded to a report of a one-car crash on Route 125 in Hancock. Police cited William Shaw, 39, of Danvers, Mass., for driving under the influence of drugs.

Separately, on Aug. 31 at 4:48 p.m., troopers were notified of erratic driving on Route 100 in Waitsfield. They located the vehicle and stopped it. Officers cited Mark Smith, 62, of Granville for driving under the influence.

Then, on Sept. 12 at a little before 9:30 p.m. state police saw a violation and stopped a vehicle on Route 74 East in Shoreham. While speaking with driver Juan Camey Llamas, 47, of Cornwall, troopers detected signs of impairment. The officer cited Llamas for DUI. Troopers were assisted on scene by Middlebury police.
