City Limits boosts the Commodores

VERGENNES — The Commodore Booster Club saluted local business owner Brett Ward, owner of the City Limits Night Club in Vergennes, on Tuesday night, Jan. 21, at halftime of the Vergennes/Mount Abraham basketball game in Vergennes. The Boosters recognized Ward for his 13 years of support of the Vergennes Union High School Boosters and athletic programs.
In 2013 City Limits contributed $13,000 to the Commodore Booster Club, and since 2001 the business has contributed over $220,000.
“Brett Ward exemplifies the model of business philanthropy. We are so lucky to have such a generous business owner in our community. We cannot thank Brett enough,” said Booster Club President Kim Haigis.
Ward said, “I would like to thank all the customers of City Limits who have helped us support the Booster Club for all these years. It’s great to see the money put to good use. Thanks on behalf of City Limits and its staff.”
