Opinion: Town can restore historic vista

The archival photos that depict the area around Twilight Hall before the construction of the gym and the high school buildings are what reinforced my decision to vote in favor of the selectboard plan. That historical, aesthetically pleasing vista would be possible again, for everyone in town to enjoy.
When looking at what was there, or not, in the late 1800s, one has to wonder, “What were they thinking?” when two very large utilitarian brick buildings were constructed in that lovely green space. Take a look and see what you think.
That was then, and this is now. This is an opportunity to be part of something wonderful for our lovely town. Get the real facts, weigh them carefully, and cast an informed vote.
