Commission sets Monday evening hearing on Addison Town Plan

ADDISON — The Addison Planning Commission will hold a public hearing this Monday, June 30, at 7 p.m. on proposed revisions to the Addison Town Plan. The hearing will be held at the town fire station on Route 17.
According to a list of changes provided in a legal ad, many of the revisions are updates to reflect new information on town services and other items such as Census data. 
Also included are new goals for an “Emergency Plan” and on “Child Care,” a new section on town history, a “completely rewritten” section on education, “entirely new” sections on economic development and recreation/tourism, and a “statement made to continue to address issues such as lot density.”
