Challenger John Spencer promises to work with both sides of the aisle to find real, long-lasting solutions to the intractable problems that the state faces, such as rising school budgets and property taxes. He impresses me as a moderate, thoughtful person who is not an ideologue. He seeks to learn all the facts about an issue before he develops an opinion.
In choosing to run for the Vermont House, John is confident that his long-time experience in business and the agricultural community will be a valuable asset. His willingness to work hard, gather the facts and bring people together to find creative solutions to difficult problems will serve us well.
I urge you to vote for John Spencer and Diane Lanpher to represent us in Montpelier. During her time in office Diane has done a great job working for the interests of residents of Addison County and the state. Together John Spencer and Diane Lanpher will provide the kind of well considered leadership that we need.
