State closes part of Route 125 for new bridge
BRIDPORT — The Vermont Agency of Transportation has announced a temporary road closure on Route 125, 2.3 miles west of Route 22A in Bridport, starting Monday, June 15, at 6 a.m. The road will reopen Saturday, June 20, at 6 a.m. The closure will allow construction crews to replace the bridge that spans the west branch of the Dead Creek.
Signed detours will be in effect during this time. In addition, Route 125 will be closed to pedestrian and bicycle traffic during the five-day closure period.
